Please note this is a TUESDAY CLASS
With Capt. Dave Berson
THE GLORY is America’s premier environmentally-friendly solar-powered passenger vessel. Captain David Berson has delighted adults and children alike with whisper-quiet and fume-free tours of the nooks and crannies of Greenport and Stirling Harbors and the Peconic Bay since 1999. He is a navigating treasure trove of Greenport maritime history and guarantees a fun-filled, relaxing day. Leaves from Preston’s Dock.

Become a puppeteer and create your own one-of-a-kind puppet! Kids will design and build their own character, using imagination and creativity to bring it to life in their own unique way. What will your puppet be?

We are teaming up with the Greenport Fire Department to present the Fireman’s Fair at Mitchell Park—a fun, hands-on event where kids can explore what it’s like to be a volunteer firefighter. Just like our popular Police Fest, this new program gives children the chance to meet local heroes, check out fire trucks and equipment, and learn about fire safety in an engaging and interactive way.

All are welcome to the Annual Southold Police Kid's Fun*Fest. Chief Grattan, his officers and their equipment will be in Mitchell Park to meet and greet all visitors and show off some of the cool police gear. Fingerprinting (for fun), ATVs, police cars, vans, the mobile command center, motorcylcles, bikes, and perhaps a boat or two will be available to climb into, investigate, and maybe even catch a ride.

Up Close with Snakes, Turtles and Other Reptiles of Long Island
For the budding herpetologist, this hands-on program brings you up close with a fascinating variety of reptiles. Meet snakes, turtles, and tortoises while learning about their unique lifestyles and habitats. Discover how human activity impacts these species and find out how you can help protect reptiles right here in our local environment.

Dive into the underwater meadow of Peconic Bay and discover the fascinating world of seahorses and eelgrass! Kids ages 7–12 will explore how these gentle creatures live, hide, and thrive among the swaying grasses beneath the surface. A fun and eye-opening look at one of our local underwater habitats.

Get ready to laugh, cheer, and be amazed! Award-winning balloon artist Nick the Balloonatic brings over 30 years of experience—and a whole lot of fun—to this one-of-a-kind class. From wacky hats to animals and favorite characters, Nick twists up balloon magic right before your eyes. What will he make next? Come find out!
