The 5th annual
PIRATE and MERMAID BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER
Front Street Station Restaurant was all decked out with a mermaid and pirate theme. As party goers ascended the front porch, they were greeted with music performed by Lisa Coppola. Children were given goody bags as they entered only to be confronted by one of two lovely and very real mermaids! While "The Daves" played toe-tapping tunes, the heavenly buffet banquet was awaiting, and the face painter was busy with her brushes!
The main event of the morning was seeing Suffolk County Legislator Al Krupski present Paul with a Proclamation declaring him Legislator for the Day. Trustee Mary Bess Phillips also spoke as a representative of Greenport Village. Our emcee, Jerry Cibulski, reminded all those present that the mission of the PDLEP is to broaden a child's life through unique experiences.
So until next year's Breakfast, keep the PDLEP close to your hearts, enroll your children in the classes and keep practicing your "Aarrgghh" !
Our sincere thanks to the many people who contributed in so many ways to help make this party so successful : David & Liz Shanks of Surrey Lane Farms, Billy Berliner, Elbow East Restaurant staff, Scott Goldberg of North Fork Wedding Films and Photography, Platinum Executive Security, Spoonful of Sugar Entertainment, Marilyn Fieldler and the Fiedler Gallery, Tucker Electic, Burton's Books, The Whale's Tale, Dave Nyce, David Berson, Krupski Farms, Front Street Station staff, and so many others who donated funds, time, energy, and smiles.
We love and appreciate you all !
Sharon, Arlene, Morgant, Keturah, and Paul
